A Local Gateway is installed by the user on a server with low latency to the blockchain client.
A Hosted Gateway is a Gateway conveniently hosted and managed by bloXroute Labs in its cloud infrastructure. Professional or Enterprise plans include the option for Hosted Gateways. User can purchase additional Hosted Gateways as needed.
Connecting to a Hosted Gateway is similar to connecting to a local Gateway.
Register an account and select either a Professional or Enterprise plan.
Let us know at [email protected] that you would like to configure a bloXroute Hosted Gateway. We’ll provision a remote Gateway for you usually by the next business day. You can provide the information over Discord or by email. Make your subject line “Hosted Gateway” and provide your Ethereum node’s geo location, public key, IP address, and port. For details on how to retrieve your public key, visit this page.
We will respond via Discord or email to provide you with the enode of the Gateway. Use this enode to add the Gateway as a trusted peer.
Once done, we’ll start your Hosted Gateway, confirm with you that you’re online, and you’ll be good to go!
