Installation and Startup

All clients must start gateways with an account, which has various features and priorities under different plans. The most noticeable features include streaming and using the API to send transactions fast. View a comparison of the different plans here.
Installation procedure is identical for Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), and Polygon gateways. Users may run the bloXroute Go Gateway as a Docker container or using a local build based on the github repository.
To ensure that your Gateway will be able to connect to the Ethereum node, it is recommended you add the Gateway as a trusted peer. See Connecting the Gateway to Ethereum Mainnet Consensus Layer for instructions on connecting your Gateway to beacon node.
After a successful installation, the Gateway provides the node access to the BDN and will speed up block and transaction propagation to and from the node that it is peered with.
